The Light Fantastic
Terry Pratchet's first Discworld book took me a while to get into. It felt a little like it jumped around and I was having trouble following along.
With The Light Fantastic I didn't feel like that at all. It picked up in a strange jump from the last book but it worked and the story flowed. It's a fun read.
I'm trying to highlight passages or phrases that stand out to me in books more. From The Light Fantastic was this...
You can talk about tramps. You can talk about garlic. You can talk about France. Go on. But if you haven't smelled Ankh-Morpork on a hot day you haven't smelled anything.
The rest of the description is pretty funny.
Over all a fun and easy read.
